Choose a supported asset
Start by selecting one of the cryptocurrencies currently available for staking on Capital Chain. Different assets can have different staking options, so the asset you choose determines which conditions apply.
Choose a supported cryptocurrency, review the staking conditions, confirm the transaction, and manage your staking position from one platform.
Capital Chain is built around a simple flow: decide what you want to stake, understand the conditions attached to that asset, confirm the staking action, then track what happens next.
The exact rules can differ between supported assets. Lock periods, reward calculations, network fees, unstaking requirements and withdrawal timing should always be reviewed for the specific option you choose.
Eight stages take you from choosing an asset to completing an unstaking or withdrawal request.
Start by selecting one of the cryptocurrencies currently available for staking on Capital Chain. Different assets can have different staking options, so the asset you choose determines which conditions apply.
Connect the wallet you intend to use for the staking transaction. The wallet is used to identify the account initiating the action and to sign the transaction when you are ready to proceed.
Before committing assets, review the information displayed for that option. This can include the staking period, whether the position is locked or flexible, the displayed reward range, applicable fees, unstaking rules and any waiting period that may apply.
Enter the amount you want to stake and review the transaction before signing it in your wallet. Depending on the asset and network, the transaction can include a network fee. Confirm only after checking the amount, wallet, network and transaction details.
After the transaction is confirmed, the assets participate in the staking mechanism that applies to the selected option. The underlying process can vary by asset and should not be assumed to work the same way across every supported cryptocurrency.
Once the position is active, rewards can accrue according to the rules of the selected staking option. Displayed reward rates are not guaranteed returns. Actual rewards can change based on the relevant network, protocol rules, validator performance or other conditions.
Use the platform to follow your active staking position, view the amount staked, monitor reward progress and review the conditions that still apply to the position.
When you decide to exit a position, follow the unstaking or withdrawal process shown for that asset. Some options may allow faster access, while others can have a lock period, cooldown, unbonding period or another waiting period before funds become available.
These are the parts of the process you should understand before confirming a staking action.
Connecting a wallet lets the platform interact with the wallet account you choose. Always confirm that you are using the intended wallet and network before signing a transaction.
A wallet signature authorizes an action. Read the transaction details before approving it. Never share your private key, seed phrase or recovery phrase to complete a staking transaction.
A staking option may be flexible or may require assets to remain committed for a defined period. The relevant condition should be reviewed before you stake.
Reward amounts depend on the selected staking option and the rules that govern it. A displayed rate is an estimate or current figure, not a promise of a fixed return.
Blockchain transactions can require network fees. The amount can vary based on the network and current activity, and is separate from any platform fee that may apply.
Unstaking begins the process of exiting a staking position. Withdrawal is the point at which the assets become available to move again. Depending on the option, these may not happen at the same time.
Staking can generate rewards, but it also involves conditions and risks. Review the complete staking option before committing funds.
